Terms of Service

Website use | Last updated:

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) set out the conditions for using the public website of ONIX Technologies Limited at www.onix.co, including its information, enquiry and demonstration features. They are not the full commercial terms for subscribing to iX, deploying ONIX AI or purchasing a communication service.

1. Who operates this website

The website is operated by ONIX Technologies Limited (“ONIX”, “we”, “us” or “our”), a company registered in England and Wales under number 16082413, with its registered office at 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. You can contact us at hello@onix.co.

2. Scope and acceptance

These Terms apply when you visit or use the public website, including contact forms, Help Me Choose, chat and demonstration requests. By using the website you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

Separate signed or accepted terms may apply to any paid subscription, implementation, support, UC service, software access or other purchase. Those agreed terms take precedence for the relevant service if they conflict with these website Terms. Nothing here removes statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

3. About ONIX and the website

ONIX provides software platform and technology capability to support structured commercial operations. Its core areas include iX (platform), ONIX AI (automation and AI-supported engagement) and integrated communication and voice services.

The website provides general information about those capabilities and may allow you to make enquiries, explore suggested services, book demonstrations and submit requests relating to communication services. Information is indicative and may change as services and configurations develop.

4. Using the website lawfully

You agree not to misuse the website or interfere with its security or availability. In particular, you must not:

  • try to gain unauthorised access to accounts, databases, source code or other systems;
  • upload malicious code, disrupt website operation or attempt to bypass security controls;
  • submit fraudulent, unlawful, abusive or deliberately misleading material;
  • infringe ONIX’s or another person’s intellectual property, privacy or other legal rights;
  • use automated extraction, scraping or bulk requests in a way that breaches applicable law or materially impairs the website.

We may take proportionate steps to protect the website, including restricting or suspending access where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance or preventing misuse.

5. Enquiries and demonstrations

If you use our contact form or request a demonstration, please provide accurate and appropriate information. We may use the details supplied to respond, clarify your needs, arrange a meeting or provide relevant follow-up.

Submitting an enquiry, using Help Me Choose or requesting a demonstration does not by itself create a contract to buy any ONIX product or service. Appointment availability and any confirmation are subject to the booking process and communications you receive.

6. Help Me Choose and AI-assisted interactions

The Help Me Choose guided questions are intended to help visitors identify a potentially relevant ONIX capability. Their recommendations are indicative and are based on the selections you make; they are not a substitute for an individual assessment of your business needs.

Some website chat or communication features may involve automation or AI-supported responses. Such responses may contain errors, omissions or information that requires confirmation. You should verify important information with ONIX before making purchasing, operational or contractual decisions.

Do not provide sensitive personal information, confidential third-party information or payment card details through a general chat unless ONIX has expressly directed you to an appropriate secure process. You can request clarification from a member of our team at hello@onix.co.

7. Orders, subscriptions and commercial services

If our website displays a UC service request, quotation, configuration or checkout feature, any transaction may be subject to additional terms presented during the ordering process or agreed separately. Where an order is submitted, the applicable process will determine when a binding contract is formed.

The scope, charges, licences, service levels, renewal and cancellation arrangements, data processing responsibilities and support commitments for paid iX, ONIX AI or communication services must be established in the relevant customer documentation. These website Terms do not themselves provide a licence to use paid ONIX software or define a subscription commitment.

Any statutory rights relating to a transaction, including applicable consumer rights, remain unaffected.

8. Accuracy and availability of website information

We aim to keep our website clear and accurate. However, its descriptions, examples, illustrations, feature summaries and commercial commentary are provided for general information and may not reflect every configuration or service limitation.

We do not guarantee any particular revenue, lead volume, conversion rate, business result or continuous website availability simply because a capability is described on the website. Specific contractual commitments must be confirmed in the applicable customer agreement.

We may change, maintain or temporarily suspend parts of the public website where reasonably necessary. This section does not override service availability commitments agreed separately with a customer.

9. Your submissions

You confirm that you have the right to provide any content or information submitted to the website and that it is not unlawful, knowingly inaccurate or infringing another person’s rights.

You retain any intellectual property rights you own in material you submit. You permit ONIX to use that material to the extent reasonably necessary to process your enquiry, assess a requested service, arrange follow-up and meet applicable legal obligations. Personal information is handled as set out in our Privacy Policy.

10. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the ONIX website, original content, design, graphics, trade names, branding and other protected materials are owned by ONIX or its licensors. Relevant product names, including iX™, may be protected by applicable intellectual property rights.

You may view the website and use its publicly available information for legitimate personal or internal business evaluation. You must not reproduce, modify, commercially exploit or distribute protected materials without permission, except where permitted by law.

11. Third-party features and links

Our website uses or links to some independently operated tools, including embedded chat, appointment booking, externally hosted fonts and other service integrations. These services may have their own terms, notices and technical requirements.

We are not responsible for the independently operated content or policies of third-party websites. This does not affect responsibility that applicable law places on ONIX for its own use of third-party service providers.

12. Privacy and cookies

Personal information collected or processed in connection with the website is covered by our Privacy Policy, which explains relevant information flows, legal bases, retention criteria and your rights.

Please see our Privacy Policy

13. Liability and legal protections

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Nothing in these Terms affects mandatory consumer rights.

Subject to those protections, ONIX is not responsible for losses resulting from your unreasonable reliance on unverified or illustrative information made available through the public website, or from events outside our reasonable control, to the extent permitted by law.

Where a paid service is provided, any agreed warranties, remedies and limitations of liability are governed by the applicable service agreement, subject always to mandatory legal protections.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms when website functionality, operations or legal requirements change. The latest version will be made available on the website and will show its update date. A change to these website Terms will not, by itself, change a separately agreed customer contract.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. For business users, the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction in relation to disputes concerning these website Terms, subject to any mandatory law that applies. Any mandatory rights concerning applicable law or jurisdiction for consumers remain unaffected.
